The West Coast Motorcycle Ride To Live takes place Sunday May 26, departing from both Vancouver and Chilliwack. Their website has information about how to donate, volunteer, and join the ride. There are a limited number of raffle tickets available to BC residents only, with the winner chosing from either a 2013 Honda Goldwing Bagger or 2013 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. The Mr. Lube Tournament For Life takes place Monday June 3 from 9 AM - 7:30 PM at the prestigious Point Grey Golf and Country Club in Vancouver. It is a day of exceptional golf, first class hospitality and exclusive on-course experiences dedicated to improving the lives of men and families facing prostate cancer. This year's Safeway Father's Day Walk/Run will be held the morning of Sunday June 16 at locations across Canada. The Metro Vancouver Father's Day Walk/Run will be held at Burnaby Lake and will include a tot run, 2K walk, 5K walk/run and 10.8K chip-timed run. The event will include entertainment, a full free barbeque lunch, prizes and special guests, and will have plenty of seating. The Scotiabank Half Marathon and 5K run will take place on Sunday June 23 in Vancouver, BC. Participants can set up fundraising pages, and funds raised for VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation will support the Vancouver Prostate Centre. The website allows you to search for a participant to sponsor or donate directly to the Foundation.
Online registration is now open for this event, with registration fees increasing monthly. If you have already registered, you can still open a fundraising page.
