Donating to the Vancouver Prostate Centre brings our pioneering researchers one step closer to the final challenge: defeating treatment-resistant prostate cancer.  Thanks to the generosity of our donors, over the past two decades, Vancouver Prostate Centre researchers and clinicians have:

• Developed and delivered optimized care to BC men with prostate cancer
• Created a Centre of Excellence in prostate cancer research that attracts top research talent and is recognized worldwide
• Identified an entirely new class of drugs, which can effectively inhibit and, in some cases, eliminate a receptor that plays a critical role in treatment resistance.

How does the Vancouver Prostate Centre receive donations?

The Vancouver Prostate Centre receives donations through the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation – a registered charity that raises funding for the latest, most sophisticated medical equipment, world-class research and improvements to patient care.

The Foundation receives donations for a number of critical causes, but any gifts specifically designated for the Vancouver Prostate Centre will be directed towards our own innovative and visionary research program.

How can I make a gift to the Vancouver Prostate Centre?

  Make a one-time or monthly gift to the Vancouver Prostate Centre through the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation website, using our secure online donations page. Click the "Donate Now" button, located on the lower right of the page. You will receive an electronic tax receipt immediately by email.

  Credit card donations can be made by calling 604-875-4676 or toll free at 1-877-875-4676. The Foundation accepts Visa, AMEX and Mastercard.

A tax receipt will be issued by mail for all donations of $25 or more. To reduce administration costs, receipts for gifts under $25 are mailed only upon request.
