Patient Education Research

Men diagnosed with prostate cancer need to be able to make informed decisions about their treatment options. The Vancouver Prostate Centre’s ongoing research into some of the psycho-social aspects of prostate disease diagnosis and treatment will lead to improved methods to provide information to patients and their families which ultimately helps them to make the best decisions about treatment options.

Our research is complemented by our Patient Education and Research Centre: a valuable resource for patients and their families as well as healthcare professionals seeking reliable and up to date information about prostate diseases.

A World Class Centre

The Vancouver Prostate Centre (VPC) has a track record of success that has earned it a reputation as one of the world’s most respected cancer facilities. It is a National Centre of Excellence and a designated Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research.
