The Pan Pacific Vancouver is hosting a celebration of Scotland's most famous poet, Robbie Burns, on January 25. The event will include fundraising for Prostate Cancer Canada's Plaid for Dad campaign. There will be a traditional itinerary, starting with the official piping in of the guests, with exclusive malt tastings, authentic Scottish cuisine celebrating the haggis and ending the evening with a chorus of Auld Lang Syne. The annual Terry Fox Run fundraiser took place Sunday September 18 at locations across Canada. The VPC team of 61 members raised over $37,000. The Terry Fox Foundation has enabled groundbreaking work in the field of cancer therapeutics, and revolutionized fundraising for such work.
