Congratulations to Sofie Tolmeijer for receiving the 2024 Research Trainee Award

Michael Smith Health Research BC is providing funding to 44 emerging researchers throughout British Columbia as part of the 2024 Research Trainee competition. These awards are designed to assist skilled postdoctoral and health professional researchers in advancing their careers within the province. By enhancing the productivity of their teams, research trainees contribute significantly to breakthroughs that enhance the health of individuals and communities.

Sofie Tolmeijer (trainee in Dr. Alexander Wyatt lab) was awarded for their research project “Accelerating the implementation of blood-based genomic testing for people living with metastatic prostate cancer in British Columbia”.
