Dr. Lallous Receives U.S. DoD Grant for Prostate Cancer Research

We are proud to announce that Dr. Nada Lallous has been awarded an Idea Development Award – Established Investigator from the U.S. Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program (DoD PCRP). This $1.48 million USD grant will support her collaborative project with Drs. Gsponer, Foster, and Gleave (UBC), and Dr. Rhie (USC), titled: “Comparative Transcriptomic and Proteomic Profiling of Full-Length AR and AR-V7 Splice Variant Condensates in Prostate Cancer.”

This research aims to uncover the distinct molecular features of androgen receptor condensates associated with treatment-resistant forms of prostate cancer.
