Innovative technology developed by Vancouver Prostate Centre investigator Dr. Mads Daugaard will allow scientists to access cell analytics from anywhere in the world, which could help democratize research and advance the development of personalized medical treatments.
The artificial intelligence-driven SnapCyte Solutions Inc. smartphone app produces data used in cell growth medical research at a fraction of the time that it takes for current technology. At a few hundred dollars per year, the app is also a more accessible option for laboratories that are unable to buy costly cell analytics equipment.
