Dr. Sofie Tolmeijer Receives 2024 PCF Young Investigator Award

Dr. Sofie Tolmeijer, PhD, a researcher in the Wyatt Lab, has been awarded the 2024 CCPC – Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) Young Investigator Award. The award recognizes their work on:

"Serial Blood-Based Epigenotyping of Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer (mCRPC) to Understand Response and Resistance to Lutetium-177-PSMA-617 (Lu-PSMA) Treatment Strategies.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation’s Young Investigator Award supports early-career scientists and physicians conducting innovative research in prostate cancer. In 2024, the program awarded $6.3 million in funding to 30 researchers, selected from 116 applicants across nine countries. Now in its 27th year, the program is designed to foster the development of future leaders in the field by providing critical funding at a formative stage in their careers.
