Dr Wasan named 2025 MD Anderson Distinguished Alumnus

Congratulations to Dr Kishor Wasan on being named the 2025 MD Anderson Distinguished Alumnus! Dr Wasan, an adjunct professor in Urologic Sciences, a co-principal investigator on a CIHR grant with Dr Michael Cox, and a member of the Cox lab at the Vancouver Prostate Centre, has been honored with this prestigious award.

The annual Distinguished Alumnus Award & Lecture, sponsored by the MD Anderson Alumni Association, was established in 1980 to recognize alumni who have made significant contributions to their fields. Each year, the recipient is chosen from a pool of nominations submitted by the Alumni Association. Eligible candidates must have completed a program or received a degree or certificate from an MD Anderson institution.

This award is a testament to Dr Wasan's dedication, innovation, and excellence in the field of Urologic Sciences. His contributions have not only advanced our understanding and treatment of urological conditions but have also inspired countless students and colleagues.
