Karan Parekh (PhD student) has been honored with the Canadian Cancer Society's Research Training Award; a platform designed to nurture the next generation of cancer researchers in Canada.  This award allows him to conduct ground-breaking research specifically on liquid biopsy ctDNA analysis for late-stage prostate cancer treatment responses. Under the mentorship of Dr. Alexander Wyatt, this award provides him with the opportunity to establish connections within Canada's cancer research community, fostering interdisciplinary exposure, knowledge translation, engagement, and mentorship.
