Dr. Alex Wyatt and his research team at the Vancouver Prostate Centre (VPC) have published a new study in Clinical Cancer Research examining the impact of radioligand therapy (RLT) in metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

The work was led by PhD student Asli Munzur, who presented the initial findings at the annual ASCO meeting in 2025. The study identifies an increase in clonal hematopoiesis following treatment — an important finding as Lu-PSMA and other radioligand therapies continue to expand into earlier prostate cancer settings.

This project reflects a successful collaboration with the ANZUP trial group in Australia, further advancing translational urologic research.

These results provide timely insight for clinicians and researchers working to optimize the safety and long-term outcomes of emerging prostate cancer therapeutics.

Congratulations to Dr. Alex Wyatt, Asli Munzur, and colleagues on this important contribution!
