Somasekharan Lab Students Honored with CIHR Travel Award 2025

We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Unnati Yagnik and (Ziwei) Mia Cai, students from Dr. Syam Somasekharan's laboratory, who have been awarded the prestigious 2025 CIHR Travel Award through the Institute Community Support (ICS) Program.

This highly competitive and limited award makes it remarkable for two students from the same lab to be selected, highlighting the exceptional teamwork and dedication within the Somasekharan laboratory. The recipients will use this award to attend the Canadian Cancer Research Alliance (CCRA) Conference, furthering their research and collaboration in the field.
